As one of America’s leading proponents of new music, Maria Bachmann has received critical acclaim for her performances and recordings of new works by such legendary composers as John Corigliano, William Bolcom, Lou Harrison, Leon Kirchner, Arvo Part, and Alfred Schnittke as well as many young composers such as Paul Moravec, James MacMillan, Sebastian Currier, Paul Dresher and others.
